Girlfriends with Boyfriends
The book I read was called Boyfriends with Girlfriends by
Alex Sanchez. It is a young adult fiction book. It’s about five characters
named Lance, Sergio, Kimiko, Allie and Chip. The story takes place at a restaurant in the mall. In the beginning, we learn that they all are gay or
lesbian. As the story continues, Kimiko meets a girl That she met online, and
they go to the mall to meet each other and get to know each other. Now, Kimiko
has Been crushing on Allie ever since they met at the mall, but that’s not a
good way to start off by Introducing each other. Kimiko thinks it’s hard for Allie
to believe that a bombshell like Allie could be interested in Kimiko.
I thought the most surprising part
of this book was when, is Allie already has a boyfriend and she is
meeting the girl Kimiko which is a lesbian and that Allie I think
is cheating on her other boyfriend. Why this part is surprising is because cheating is very bad thing to do and it’s
just not right to do it’s very mean.
My favorite
character in this story was Allie, because she has to be perfect just like me. For
example if my hair is all messy it
has to be perfect. She is also pretty, one example for this even though some
people are mean or maybe even weird everybody
should treat everybody properly. Finally I will describe this character as
nice, friendly and loving because she is a good example of being positive.
